UK Pioneer 300 Build FAQ
Q: How long does it take to build?
A: About 800 hours. To date, this is the average build time for the UK kit. It's like any other kit aircraft, the sales talk and the reality are about 50% apart!!
Q: Where can I find out more about the build?
A: Join the forum and ask or drop Simon and Rachel an Email
Q: Can I get help during the build?
A: Yes! Just join the forum and ask away! Help is available for those daunting jobs like fabric covering.
Q: What's it like to fly?
A: Fanstastic! Just like it looks!
Q: Is it easy to build?
A: Yes! However, now that several have been built in the UK, if you hit a snag, drop a note on the forum as you can be sure thje problem you have hit has already been solved!
Q: Who can test fly your new aircraft?
A: If you have 250 hrs TT, 25+ hours complex time and 5 hours on type, the PFA will generally let you do the test flying. To my knowledge, there are currenty 3 PFA approved test pilots on the P300
